Austria authors of their own demise in tight loss to France

France delivered a 100th victory for manager Didier Deschamps as they beat a tenacious and well organised Austria side 1-0 in their opening Group D match at Euro 2024 but talisman Kylian Mbappe suffered a worrying injury on Monday.
