Australian GP: F1 releases onboard footage of exciting new circuit layout

The Australian Grand Prix is back on the agenda after a couple of years without being held and it’s certainly exciting to have it back.

Australian F1 fans will have been waiting for ages for the day to come where we go racing around Albert Park once more but, at last, we are getting to that moment now with the Grand Prix being held this Sunday in Melbourne.

Things have changed since we last raced in Oz, too, with a new layout in sector two, a host of reprofiled corners and a fresh layer of tarmac being laid down for the drivers to get to grips with this weekend.

The idea being, of course, that we have more overtaking and with the F1 season starting in an exciting manner thanks to the new regulations, things are surely set up for a thrilling Grand Prix in Melbourne.

It’s almost time for the cars to hit the track, then, with Friday practice just around the corner and so, that in mind, it seems a good time to take a flying lap of the circuit and see exactly what is what and what has changed.
