Australia's Minjee Lee moves to number four in the women's world golf rankings

Australia's Minjee Lee has risen to number four in the women's world golf rankings, moving up three places following her recent solid form.

The jump in the standings equals the highest ranking Lee has achieved in her professional career.

She finished tied for second in the LPGA Tour's Women's World Championship in Singapore on Sunday.

The 25-year-old sits behind South Korea's world number one Jin Young Ko — who won triumphed in Singapore — with American Nelly Korda and New Zealand's Lydia Ko rounding out the top three.

Fellow Australian Hannah Green is ranked 27, while Cameron Green sits in 10th position in the latest men's rankings.

Lee produced a stunning performance in the final round in Singapore on Sunday.

She shot the best round of the day, sinking 11 birdies on her way to a 9-under-par-63.

Lee was hamstrung by bogeys on the ninth and 14th holes, finishing on 15-under alongside South Korea's In Gee Chun, two strokes behind Jin Young Ko.
