Aubameyang posts tweet after video shows him criticising Arsenal's Mikel Arteta

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was in the headlines for all the wrong reasons once again earlier this week as a video surfaced of him criticising Mikel Arteta, his former boss from his time at Arsenal.

The Gabonese forward endured a prosperous spell in north London with The Gunners, however the relationship turned sour, with Arteta finally losing his cool with his conduct, stripping him of the captaincy and leaving him out of the squad for disciplinary breaches.

It culminated with him being shipped off to Barcelona, although he failed to make an impression there, with the Catalan giants already cutting ties with him, sending him to Chelsea where he will be preparing to take on his former club again.

Chelsea’s new forward addressed the video that was going round of him, with the clip reaching a wide audience of people, with Arsenal fans clearly fuming.

Aubameyang tweeted: “Aware there is a video out that was recorded just after I arrived at Barca. At this time I still had a lot of bad feelings in me – Arsenal are doing great things this season and I wish all my old guys well, just not on November 6! Now full focus
