Aubaas confirms no deal with Pirates as rumours become 'overwhelming' for Galaxy star

TS Galaxy midfielder Bathusi Aubaas has dismissed media reports claiming that he has signed for Orlando Pirates.

The 28-year-old featured in the recent Bafana Bafana squad against Morocco earlier this month and was mistakenly listed as a Buccaneers player, much to the dismay of Galaxy president Tim Sukazi.

Aubaas clarified that he remains unattached to any team and that he extended his contract with the Rockets just last year.

He emphasised his willingness to consider any promising offers that may come his way, but he reiterated that he has not yet committed to any team.

As Aubaas enjoyed a successful season under coach Sead Ramovic, cementing his position in the Rockets' line-up, his reputation has soared.

Nonetheless, he underlined that the Galaxy management and his representatives would handle all matters related to his future, acknowledging his mounting pressure.

He stated on Radio2000: "I'm leaving my future in the hands of my agent and chairman, Tim Sukazi, as I am overwhelmed with numerous calls and immense pressure.

"I signed a new deal with TS Galaxy last year. However, the constant phone calls and pressure have become overwhelming.

"I trust my agent and the club to make decisions regarding my future."
