At breakfast with Unstoppables, company donates equipment, other items to para-powerlifters
The National Stadium, Lagos, was brought to life on Thursday when the official sponsor of the Nigerian Para Powerlifting Federation (NPPF), Peak Milk, hosted the country’s Paralympians to an event tagged ‘Breakfast with Unstoppables.’
Laced with music and anchored by the popular artiste, Yaw, Peak said the event was aimed at reiterating its commitment to supporting NPPF’s athletes as they continually strive to win medals for Nigeria in international competitions.
Speaking at the event, Managing Director, FrieslandCampina Sub-Saharan Africa Cluster, Ben Langat, affirmed the continued backing of the Unstoppables by the milk brand.
The event also saw the Federation receiving new sets of top-of-the-line wheelchairs, in addition to nutritional support to nourish the athletes to even greater performances in coming competitions.
Langat outlined the support the brand extended to the team over the years which, in turn, inspired the athletes to unprecedented heights, making them rank high among the most successful Nigerian national teams ever.
