Aston Villa man sent defiant message after 'calm down' warning

Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez has been backed to continue his passionate celebrations by supporters after being warned in the aftermath of Tuesday's 1-0 win over Colombia.

After the game, Martinez was seen celebrating behind his opposite number Camilo Vargas as he was being interviewed and was told to "calm down" by two-time national team coach Alfio 'Coco' Basile.

Villa fans have come to their number one's defence, calling for the shot-stopper to not be deterred by these comments and continue to do what he does best for both club and country.

Got to love him, he just doesn't care, gone from second-choice keeper at Arsenal to our number one and winning the Copa America with Argentina and he's loving every minute.
