Aston Villa fans vent frustration ahead of Brighton clash

Aston Villa fans have expressed frustration at the team's recent run of poor form ahead of their trip to Brighton on Saturday.

Villa's last Premier League win came away at Everton back in January, when Duncan Ferguson was in caretaker charge of the Toffee's after the sacking of Rafa Benitez.

Since then, Steven Gerrard 's side have drawn 3-3 with Leeds United at Villa Park and suffered disappointing back-to-back defeats against relegation strugglers Newcastle United and Watford.

Recent results have seen Villa slip to 13th in the table but they remain seven points clear of the relegation zone.

Here's what Villa fans are saying on social media ahead of Saturday's clash with the Seagulls...

Honestly... I don't even care about the performance anymore... just get the damn 3 points.

Can't be smiling in training until we win a game lads!!

Let’s win a game.

NOTHING but 3 points will do!! And IF NOT the players are accountable and no one else!!!!

Start winning then you can smile.

How about a win.

Nice, now score some goals tomorrow.

Hope this is better than the last few games. Really want to believe lads but it’s tough watching at the moment. Need a break to go our way.

Hope the boys play for you SG, they themselves need to, they've been an absolute disgrace the last few games.

Testing the keeper for the first time in 2 and a half games would be greatly appreciated.

Not looking forward to it one little bit.
