Aston Villa fans have transfer theory amid Arsenal links

Aston Villa fans have delivered their verdict on the latest reports over the future of Douglas Luiz.

The Athletic reports that The Brazilian is a transfer target for Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta as he looks to strengthen his squad.

Luiz has been a regular in the starting line-up under Steven Gerrard, starting each of the past eight Premier League games.

It is said that the Gunners have been keeping an eye on the midfielder for a long time as Arteta looks to add bodies in the middle of the park.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also reported that Arsenal are "following" the player along with a lot of other clubs.

The midfielder has 18 months left on his deal at Villa Park, leaving Villa with a decision to make when the summer transfer window opens.
