Aston Villa fans are all saying the same thing about 'brilliant' Emi Buendia after Burnley win

Aston Villa won their first game on the road in the Premier League for nearly two months as Steven Gerrard's side beat Burnley 3-1 at Turf Moor this afternoon.

Former Claret Danny Ings opened the scoring in the first half, before Emi Buendia added a second before half-time. The Argentine came into the team in replace of Philippe Coutinho for this game and produced a top performance.

Ollie Watkins then bagged goal number three as he headed in John McGinn's cross from the left, before Burnley scored a consolation goal through Maxwel Cornet. The result puts Villa within a point of the Premier League's top half with four games remaining this campaign.

And Villa fans have been reacting to the win on social media. Here's a sample of what have been saying on Twitter.

To score 3 goals away at a very in-form Burnley is a huge confidence boost for us, and a well earned 3 points. Emi Buendia definitely the difference today, hungry and eager to prove he deserves his place in the starting 11 and rightly so.

Buendia who has shown that he fully justified today’s start… and many more starts, if I’m being honest. A classic performance today. Just got better as the game went on

Buendia MOTM for me

Buendia man of the match. Brilliant stuff from him

Emi Buendia. From Argentina

Buendia bossing it now.

So frustrating to concede right at the end there but overall a good day at the office, good minutes for Chukwuemeka, and was great to see Buendia shine

Buendia was brilliant and absolutely deserves to keep his starting place. Ings looks much better in the last two games.
