Aston Villa have reportedly had a bid ‘accepted’ for Rangers starlet Rory Wilson.

The teenage striker had been linked with a move to Villa Park for several months and ended the season with 49 goals for club and country. Wilson had already confirmed that he was intending to leave Ibrox this summer in favour of moving to England.

Villa looked to have wrapped up the deal when it was reported on Monday that the club had agreed personal terms with the 16-year-old. However, the two clubs had yet to settle on a fee for the youngster and the transfer looked set to be resolved by a FIFA committee.

Aston Villa winger Bertrand Traore is attracting 'interest' but a move to Fenerbahçe is 'unlikely', according to reports.

Traore, 26, was signed by Villa in a deal worth £17 million ahead of the 2020/21 Premier League season and went on to have a successful debut campaign in claret and blue, as he recorded seven goals and six assists across 29 starts in the top flight of English football.

However, the winger failed to replicate this form throughout the 2021/22 season as hamstring injuries and international duty consistently interrupted his ability to feature for both Dean Smith, prior to his departure, and his successor Steven Gerrard.
