Aston Villa: £56k-a-week star is 'not undroppable’ at Villa Park

Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn is not considered ‘un-droppable’ by manager Steven Gerrard, according to journalist Dean Jones.

The 27-year-old has been in poor form in the opening weeks of the season after being named the Midlands outfit’s new captain, raising questions over his place in the starting XI.

“That’s why Steven Gerrard wants him to be the leader. I think Gerrard would rest him, though, he’s not undroppable, I don’t think anyone in this Villa team is undroppable.”

McGinn, who earns £56,000-per-week, is
