Assassin’s Creed Infinity is reportedly the next iteration of the popular franchise to be released by Ubisoft.

The AC series has been a staple of the Ubisoft lineup since the first game was released on Playstation 3, and there has been an almost yearly release under the Assassin’s Creed banner since then.

Infinity is expected to be the next ‘mainline’ release in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and there have already been some major leaks ahead of the official release of the game.

UPDATE 23rd March 2022: Notable insider Tom Henderson has reported more information on the game via XFire:

“Animus will reportedly play a huge role in this new “hub” for the Assassin’s Creed series. With it, players can be transported into any time setting they like, with additional settings and content to be added throughout the years to come.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity seems to have more questions than answers and the moment, with the title still being somewhat in early production.

“Ubisoft Montreal is still hiring for numerous “Online Services” positions and Ubisoft Quebec is currently hiring several key roles for the Assassin’s Creed brand, including a Project Lead Programmer and Associate Producer.”
