Arthur Leclerc claims Formula Regional Asia title

Ferrari junior Arthur Leclerc has crowned himself 2022 Formula Regional Asia Champion by a comfortable margin.

Arthur is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, and like his older brother Charles successfully accomplished, is looking to work his way up through the ranks into Formula 1 and hopefully secure a future drive with Ferrari.

Of course, there is a long road ahead for the 21-year-old before that, but he took an important step by winning the Formula Regional Asia title.

Leclerc mathematically secured the title with two races still to go, claiming pole for the opening race of the final round in Abu Dhabi, before taking the race one victory and the Championship in his Mumbai Falcons India Racing car.

Leclerc would follow that up with a P3 finish in the second of three races in that final round at Yas Marina Circuit.
