Arsenal to wear Stella McCartney kit to celebrate women’s team

The Arsenal men and women’s team will wear a gender-neutral pre-match jersey designed by Stella McCartney.

Adidas by Stella McCartney and Arsenal have collaborated to create a 10-piece range which celebrates the women’s team.

The range, which includes a gender-neutral shirt, a full zip hoodie, leggings and t-shirts, features a blue and scarlet red colour-way and an oversized leopard graphic synonymous with Stella McCartney.

Arsenal Women will wear the gender-neutral pre-match jersey before their Champions League match against Wolfsburg tomorrow, while the men’s team will don it before their clash against Crystal Palace next month.

“It’s great to have a collection created for our team, and even more so that Stella McCartney has designed it,” said Arsenal’s star striker Vivianne Miedema.

“The designs are amazing, and I can’t wait to wear the pre-match jersey on the pitch as we get into such an important time in the season.”

Arsenal are the most successful women’s team in history, holding the records for most titles won in each domestic competition they have played in.

The Gunners have clinched 15 league titles, 14 FA Cups, five WSL Cups and five Community Shields. They are also the only British club to win the Women’s Champions League.
