Arsenal's Oleksandr Zinchenko's brilliant interview speaking about William Saliba

Oleksandr Zinchenko couldn’t quite believe what he witnessed from William Saliba as Arsenal beat Bournemouth 3-0.

Club captain Martin Odegaard had given the visitors an early 2-0 lead but the victory was rounded off by Saliba’s sensational finish in the second half.

The defender was brilliant once again at the Vitality Stadium and capped off his performance was a beautiful left-footed chip into the top corner.

Saliba’s brilliance was summed up by Zinchenko’s reaction who put his hands on his head and walked away in disbelief.

But it seems Zinchenko’s reaction wasn’t purely because of Saliba’s goal but his overall performance.

That’s because, after the match, the Ukrainian was asked about his reaction to Saliba’s goal. But rather than talking about the goal, Zinchenko couldn’t hold back his general praise for the French defender.

“Oh my gosh, this guy is incredible, honestly he’s unbelievable!” Zinchenko said.

“I wish he can keep going like that. Honestly, I’m not the guy to judge him but it looks like he has unbelievable experience behind him and he’s incredible. Honestly. I wish him to keep going and then we’ll see what’s going to happen.”

Consider it’s coming from a player who has played with some world-class stars at Manchester City, that’s very high praise indeed.
