Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale issues classy response as AFC Bournemouth edge Nott’m Forest promotion showdown

AFC Bournemouth were promoted back to the Premier League last night following their 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

Scott Parker’s side needed a late goal from Kieffer Moore to seal the three points, knowing that had Forest won, they would’ve seized dramatic control of the automatic promotion race.

As it was, Moore’s goal from a well constructed Philip Billing free-kick won the three points for Bournemouth and means it is them joining Fulham back in the Premier League next season.

Quite predictably, there was a sea of reaction right across social media last night, including a tweet from Arsenal goalkeeper and former Bournemouth stopper, Aaron Ramsdale.

The England goalkeeper took to Twitter to congratulate Bournemouth on securing their place back in the top-flight:

Up the cherries @afcbournemouth huge congratulations to everyone involved ❤️
