Arsenal's 2022/23 home shirt has been leaked

Arsenal have had some seriously good kits over the years.

Whether you’re a fan of the club or not, you have to pay credit to some of the stunning designs the club have sported during their time in the Premier League.

From their blazing red ‘Dreamcast’ shirts worn back in the early naughties to their burgundy heritage kit released in 2006, it is hard to fault some of the Gunners’ strips, with each bringing back memories of some of the incredible Arsenal sides of years gone by.

Flicking back through the archives, we’re reminded of some of the great players who sported the red and white jerseys, including the likes of Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Dennis Bergkamp.

And while it is a hard task to design a football jersey that is synonymous with the club’s heritage, it seems in recent years, Adidas have produced some stunning strips for the north London club that have paid homage to several of their retro kits gone by.

More recently, the club released a very eye-catching training jersey inspired by the London Underground, featuring patterns from the Picadilly Line Tube seats, which run to stations around the Emirates Stadium.

The design of the training shirts certainly split opinions among football fans in the UK.

But it seems Adidas may have gone with a much more traditional design for Arsenal’s home kit for the 2022/23 season, with leaked jerseys appearing online, showing that their new home shirt could feature a collar reminiscent of their 1995/96 home kit.

Take a look at the proposed strip below…
