Arsenal's squad has been assessed ahead of the summer transfer window, with Mikel Arteta once again expected to be busy.

The Gunners boss transformed his squad last year as the club spent a record-breaking £142m on bringing in the likes of Ben White, Martin Odegaard, Aaron Ramsdale, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares. And the club's current crop of players have now been assessed ahead of more potential additions.

It comes as William Saliba has dropped a transfer hint over his future in north London. And Jack Wilshere has offered his advice to Arsenal wonderkid Charlie Patino.

Jack Wilshere has offered his advice to Arsenal's new wonderkid Charlie Patino.

Patino has got everyone behind the scenes at the Gunners excited by his potential, and he's even been described as the best young player to come out of the club's hugely successful Hale End academy. It's a position Wilshere himself knows well having burst on the scene for the club at a tender age as well.

And prior to completing his transfer to Danish side AGF Aarhus, Wilshere went through his most iconic Arsenal performance with Patino in an effort toaid his development.
