Manchester City and Liverpool have raised the standard of what's required to win the Premier League title over the last few seasons.
Now, with the two teams locked in yet another battle for English football's top prize Micah Richards has claimed that City and Liverpool are strongest sides in the league's history... even better than Arsenal's Invincibles.
A place among the Premier League elite is where Mikel Arteta wants to take his Gunners outfit.
Recruitment during the Spaniard's tenure has generally been good and the club are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of Dutch forward Noa Lang from Club Brugge.
And it promises to be a pivotal summer for the Gunners with a number of players out of contract in June - notably Alexandre Lacazette, who club legend Alan Smith still hopes will stay in north London beyond the summer.
Here are Mirror Football's latest Arsenal headlines.
Micah Richards has claimed that the current battle for the Premier League title includes the two strongest teams in the competition’s history.
City icon Richards, who was part of the side that won the title back in 2012, believes the two title challengers are stronger than any Manchester United teams built by Sir Alex Ferguson, or the Arsenal side which went unbeaten under Arsene Wenger.
The focus for Arsenal in the summer transfer window will be in the central midfield and striker positions.
