Martin Odegard has urged Borussia Dortmund superstar forward Erling Haaland to join Arsenal this summer.

The Norwegian is set to become one of football's hottest properties this summer when a £68million release clause on his contract kicks in and top clubs from across Europe including Manchester City and Real Madrid are vying for his signature. But his international teammate Odegaard has urged him to think about joining him at the Emirates Stadium.

Martin Odegaard has opened up on Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta's exciting three-month plan for his development.

Arteta has previously spoken on Norwegian television about the work he is doing with Odegaard on the training ground – and explained that it could take more than three months to see improvements. And the player has now explained how he's working "on small details every day" under the Gunners boss.

And he also talked up his manager's knowledge as he explained there's "always something to learn from him".
