Arsenal are the latest team to throw their hat in the ring for Lautaro Martinez, as they reportedly have ‘concrete interest’ in the Inter Milan star.

Martinez has shown himself to be one of the best forwards in Europe of late. The Inter Milan striker has scored 15 league goals this term, making him the fourth-highest goalscorer in Serie A.

In 173 games for Inter, Martinez has scored 66 goals and provided 23 assists. He has piqued the interest of a lot of big hitters recently.

Liverpool have been linked, and there has also been noise regarding a move to Tottenham. Similarly, Arsenal have previously been linked with a move for the forward.

Those links appear to be true, as FC Inter News states that the Gunners have ‘concrete interest’ in the Argentine.

They are not the only side mentioned in that report. Atletico Madrid are in the same category as Arsenal regarding their interest being concrete.

The report mentions a third side – Barcelona. However, a deal to take Martinez to the Camp Nou would reportedly not only be cash, but would involve some fringe players.

As such, there is apparently ‘no way’ that transfer will happen. Arsenal and Atletico appear to be leading the pack, at least in terms of those teams.
