Bukayo Saka was forced off through an injury sustained in the second half of Arsenal's clash with Manchester United. The 20-year-old appeared to ask for a substitution which saw him replaced by Rob Holding, before gingerly walking off the pitch with a club physio.

The England international appeared to point to his upper leg before coming off. The severity of the injury has not yet been determined.

An enthralling game saw both sides make plenty of mistakes at the back but a first Arsenal goal for Nuno Tavares, a Saka penalty and a Granit Xhaka screamer proved more than enough for the hosts, who had looked shaky after Cristiano Ronaldo’s 100th Premier League goal had the visitors back in the game.
