Arsenal and Manchester City are monitoring a potential move for Real Madrid starlet Bruno Iglesias, according to reports. The 18-year-old playmaker has impressed at youth level and has even been compared to former Real Madrid and Brazil icon Kaka.
It comes as the Gunners ’ focus on youth ramps up, with a number of youngsters already making their mark in the first-team in the past year. Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli are a few from the academy to do so, while the likes of Gabriel, Ben White and Martin Odegaard are all proving themselves in their early twenties.
This is something that has been outlined by Mikel Arteta as far back as last April, where he discussed the importance of his youth players stepping up. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "The young players have earned our trust and showed that we can believe in them, not only in the games but in the way they are around the place and the way they train every day.
