Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta set to promote youngster Omari Hutchinson
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has promoted Omari Hutchinson and could hand the youngster his Premier League debut on Saturday after Brazil legend Pele claimed the teenager's 'freestyle skills' were amazing.
Hutchinson, 18, could be next in line for the Gunners with Arteta never been one to shy away of giving youth a chance at the Emirates Stadium.
He has been named among the Arsenal substitutes for their home game with Brentford on Saturday afternoon.
The attacking midfielder has been named amongst Arsenal's substitutes on several occasions but it yet to make his first team debut under the Spaniard.
That could well change, though, with Hutchinson named on the bench ahead of Arsenal's clash at home against Brentford, in place of Gabriel Martinelli who is suspended following a red card licked up in the win over Wolves.
Arteta has given the likes of Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe the chance to shine, and both have thrived under the managers guidance and proved they have what it takes at the highest level.
Charlie Patino is another who has been given the opportunity having made his bow earlier in the season, with Hutchinson set to follow suit.
He has been amongst the substitutes three times this campaign, against Burnley in the league, Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup and Liverpool in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final.
