Armagh's Lauren McConville named LGFA Player of the Month for April
Armagh's Lauren McConville has been named the Croke Park Hotel/LGFA player of the month for April.
The Crossmaglen Rangers player was superb for the Orchard County as they created history by landing the Division 1 National League title for the very first time with victory over Kerry at Croke Park last month.
The centre-back produced a player of the match performance against the Kingdom to cap a stellar campaign.
The 29-year-old was subsequently named on the Division 1 Team of the League.
McConville made her 100th appearance for Armagh earlier this year against Mayo and is part of an Armagh side looking to get the better of Donegal in Sunday Week’s Ulster football final in Clones.
