Arizona Cardinals had a cheeky response to the New York Jets on social media

The Arizona Cardinals had a brilliant response on social media to a question asked by the New York Jets.

The Arizona Cardinals, whilst not making a lot of moves this offseason, have certainly been one of the big talking points of the league. There has been the ongoing talk regarding Kyler Murray and his future, whilst on draft night they pulled a move for Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown from the Baltimore Ravens. 

It’s a move that might actually have been done as a way to appease Murray during his contract talks, as the two played together in college at the University of Oklahoma.

The move becomes even more obvious when you look at his numbers, with 2,361 receiving yards in his three regular season years in the NFL to go along with 21 touchdowns, the Cardinals brought him into a passing attack that already contains A.J Green and DeAndre Hopkins, making them one of the most feared receiving groups in the league.

The Cardinals have certainly been making steady progress these past few years, starting off with 3 wins in 2018, they have managed to increase that number to 5 in 2019, 8 in 2020 and 11 in 2021 and making the playoffs before losing in the opening round to the eventual Super Bowl champions in the Los Angeles Rams. 

And having bolstered their offence in the form of Brown as well as tight end Trey McBride in the draft, then bringing in two defensive players in the 3rd round, this could be the year that fans in the desert have been waiting for when they make a deep run into the playoffs for the first time since making the NFC Championship in 2015.
