Argentina claim historic first away win over All-Blacks
Argentina beat the All Blacks for the first time on New Zealand soil with a 25-18 victory in a Rugby Championship test in Christchurch this morning.
The hosts led 18-12 early in the second half after first half tries from Samisoni Taukeiaho and Caleb Clarke but failed to register a score for the last 34 minutes of the contest.
Michael Cheika's side nudged ahead thanks to Juan Martin Gonzalez's 47th minute try, converted by Emiliano Boffelli and they held firm for the remainder.
Boffelli, scorer of 18 points in total, landed two further penalties to push the lead out to seven points.
New Zealand finished the game with 14 after Shannon Frizell's 71s minute yellow card. The Pumas achieved their first ever win over New Zealand two years ago in another Rugby Championship match in Sydney.
