Are you concerned about the NHS in Manchester?

The last few weeks have seen the NHS creak under pressure, with several reports of issues from hospitals around the Greater Manchester area.

Just last month saw huge patient wait times in ambulances and people fit for discharge stuck on ho spital beds, as well as one hospital having only six beds available at one point.

Following these concerning reports, we want to know if you are worried about the state of the NHS in Manchester.

Another report from last week revealed that one in three ambulance workers had witnessed a patient death linked to delays, with one union saying: "A decade of savage cuts, an explosion in demand and ambulance workers leaving in droves has left the service on the edge of disaster."

This is following IT failures across four hospitals in May, with more pressure piled on the NHS following the extreme weather that came in the middle of July.

Some readers have already shared their concerns, with one person commenting on Facebook: "The government have underfunded it for years."

Another added their thoughts, saying: "The NHS is badly run by those in charge."
