Apple shoppers can get huge £530 discount on last year's MacBook Pro as M3 model launches

Apple fans were treated to a surprise launch earlier this week with the unveiling of its newest laptop, the MacBook Air M3. And the speedy new upgrade means there are hundreds of pounds worth of savings to be had on its slightly older device, including more than £500 off at John Lewis.

The MacBook Air M3 is now available to order from the UK Apple store, where you'll be able to pick from one of its three new 13-inch models - a choice of the smaller 256GB device from £1,099 or the pricier 512GB model, but if you're sat reading this thinking the cost is just too much for a new device, then you'll want to check out these latest deals at Very, Amazon and the biggest at John Lewis.

The launch of the new M3 MacBook Air means retailers have also dropped prices off the now older MacBook Air M2, fitted with a slightly slower processor than the newer M3 models. This 13-inch MacBook Air device can now be bought for more than £100 less than usual.

The deal is all thanks to Very which has cut the price of three older MacBook Air M2 models on its site; the 256GB 13-inch model in Midnight, one in Starlight, and a discount on the 15-inch MacBook Air M2 chip device (this has the same internal runnings of the 13-inch models just comes with
