Appeal after staff member left with broken nose in city centre 'disturbance'

Police are looking to speak to this man after a staff member was left with a broken nose in a 'disturbance' in Manchester city centre.

The incident unfolded on Whitworth Street West at around 1.10am on Friday, November 19 last year. Police said it happened 'outside a premises' but did not specify which one.

Officers at the scene found there had been a 'disturbance involving a member of the public and members of staff'. One of the workers was left with a broken nose.

Detectives have now released a picture of a man they want to talk to about the incident. Anyone who recognises him is being urged to come forward.

PC 18271 Jacques, of GMP's City of Manchester division, said: "Following extensive enquiries since this assault was reported, we are now in a position to ask for the public's help to identify the man in the image. We believe the man may be able to assist us with our investigation.

"Anyone with information should contact police on 0161 846 4275 quoting 142 19/11/21. Information can be shared anonymously via the independent charity - Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
