Antonio Brown Is Trying To Use Popcorn To Catch Kelsey Plum On The Rebound

On Tuesday we learned the unfortunate news that WNBA star Kelsey Plum and NFLer Darren Waller were headed for divorce.

It hasn't been twelve hours since this news went public, but Antonio Brown has already decided to shoot his shot with Plum.

Plum and Waller filed for divorce on Tuesday with Plum releasing an emotional statement that same day. As soon as he saw that the Las Vegas Aces star was soon to be on the market, Brown made his interest known.

Now, that's an interesting bit of shot shooting, unless you were watching the NCAA Women's Basketball tournament. That's because Plum went viral (alright, like semi-viral at best) for the way she ate popcorn while taking in a game.

I tried this method when I was in sixth grade. I was on a safety patrol field trip to a Harrisburg Senators baseball game (I kept those hallways locked down; no one was running on my watch). My parents gave me some money for food, but I spent it on a foam finger.

That was because the girl I had a crush on bought a foam finger and in my 12-year-old head, if I bought a foam finger we could talk about our foam fingers.

Except it didn't work… maybe I should have gone with the popcorn angle.

Now, the ball is in Plum's court. She could ask Antonio Brown what his favorite popcorn shape is. Does he prefer those ones that look like mushroom clouds or the other ones that are more elongated?

It doesn't matter. That leads to a question about favorite brands, their favorite ways to apply imitation butter, the biggest places to eat popcorn, and popcorn pet peeves.

Maybe they can bond over those popcorn tins with the cheese, caramel, and buttered
