Antonee Robinson magic: Fulham star impresses teammates with card trick

Antonee Robinson is preparing the Fulham squad for their Premier League return by wowing teammates with a magic trick on pre-season tour.

The Cottagers won the 2021/22 Championship and are looking to make it stick in the top flight, having been relegated in their first season back in the league in each of their two previous attempts.

But, the squad appeared to be in good spirits as Robinson gathered teammates and provided some truly mind-boggling entertainment, in the form of a seemingly complex card trick.

Marco Silva’s side have been in Portugal for the first leg of their pre-season preparations, leaving with a mixed bag of results.

They saw off Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice in a 2-0 victory on 16 July, but then suffered a 5-1 defeat against Benfica the day after, rounding off the mini-tournament.

And while nobody wants to lose a game of football, the Cottagers won’t be dwelling on that defeat with the primary objective among the squad being to finally make it stick in the Premier League.

Robinson joined Fulham in 2020 ahead of their 2020/21 Premier League campaign but stuck around for 2021/22 and was integral to the team’s success with 37 appearances in all competitions, and seven goal contributions.

But it’s ‘Jedi’s’ magic trick that has fans talking ahead of the new season, having bamboozled his teammates as he told an elaborate story through a deck of cards, displaying an incredible sleight of hands if not pure wizardry.

With the squad gathered round, the 24-year-old took centre stage and produced a genuinely incredible card trick, which has gone down a hit on Fulham’s official Twitter account. Take a look below.
