Anthony Martial shows true colours after Man United vs Brentford with brilliant message

Anthony Martial send a candid message to Rasmus Hojlund following his delicious winner for Manchester United against Brentford.

Hojlund, who was a constant livewire in United's victory over the Bees, netted a 62nd-minute winner to complete his side's comeback. Erik ten Hag's side had fallen behind deep into first-half stoppage time, before Alejandro Garnacho and Hojlund both found the net.

Martial left the club after nine years at Old Trafford this summer, joining AEK Athens in Greece following his departure. But it is clear the French forward still holds a special relationship with United's number nine, as he candidly praise him on social media yesterday.

Taking to Instagram, Martial wrote: "RH9" in the comments section of Hojlund's comments section, after he posted his delight. "Shoud've kept that celebration caption for today," wrote the Denmark international, who received some flak for his post after the 3-3 draw against Porto.

Fellow team-mate Harry Maguire was also seen in the comments, adding: "Bring back the guitar." Hojlund famously pulled out the celebration, a tribute to his friends, after he scored against West Ham United last season.

"It was just about trying to not fight too much with the defenders," the 21-year-old told MUTV on Saturday. "I had a good situation where I spun him and I kept trying to do that, focusing on getting the ball down to the feet, holding it and playing from there. It worked very well and I’m very pleased with the team's and my own performance."
