Anthony Martial among players to return to Manchester United training

Anthony Martial has returned to pre-season training with Manchester United after ending last term on loan at Sevilla.

The France forward spent the second half of last season on loan at Sevilla in La Liga, but he scored only one goal in 12 games and could yet remain at Old Trafford next season if there's no serious interest in him.

Alejandro Garnacho was also back in training on Monday, despite being involved in games for Argentina Under-20s in June, and fellow youngsters Ethan Laird and Shola Shoretire were pictured at Carrington. Nathan Bishop and Alvaro Fernandez have also been at the training ground today.

Players returned in staggered times on Monday ahead of medical tests, which began on Friday. Since the MEN reported the morning arrivals it has now been confirmed that Ethan Laird, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof and Martial
