Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk 2 fight purses and prize money confirmed
Anthony Joshua is bidding to regain his heavyweight titles for the second time when he faces Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
Joshua goes into the rematch as the rank outsider following on from his defeat to the Ukrainian at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last September.
Usyk comprehensively outpointed an out-of-sorts Joshua to claim the WBA (Super), WBO, IBF and IBO titles, preserving his unbeaten record in the process.

The rematch clause was immediately exercised by Joshua’s team, who promised “a different Anthony Joshua” when the two fighters met again.
It will certainly be a different purse, with Usyk, as the champion, getting a bigger cut of the prize pot.
Saudi Arabia agreed to pay £65million to stage the fight, surpassing the £50million the Saudis paid for Joshua's rematch with Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019.
That fight saw Joshua earn a reported £67million.
The 32-year-old is set to earn considerably less than he did against Ruiz Jr, however, with the purse for his clash with Usyk being split 50-50.
It represents a massive increase for Usyk, who took home around £5million from the first fight compared to £15million for Joshua.
The basic purse for the London fight saw Joshua pocket £10million and 60% of the PPV revenue, with Usyk taking home £3million and a 40% share.
The exact figures on offer for the rematch won’t be clear until after the fight, as they will incorporate ticket sales and pay-per-view buys.
But the fact that Jeddah is only two hours ahead of London increases Joshua’s chances of raking in a healthy PPV audience - ring walks for the main event are anticipated at the relatively civilised time of 10.30pm.
