Anthony Elanga Hit By Object Celebrating Manchester United Goal

Anthony Elanga was hit by an object, as Manchester United scored their third goal in a thrilling contest with Leeds United on Sunday.

Elanga, and the rest of his teammates, were celebrating Fred's brilliant strike, after the Brazilian came on in the second half, that saved them from utter embarrassment.

The United players ran towards their own fans in the corner but Elanga went down after being hit by an object that was seemingly thrown by one of the home fans.

Elanga tucked the ball home under Meslier, making it 4-2, and ran back towards his own fans and put his finger up to his lips in celebration.

The game was played in torrential rain at Elland Road but fans will be glad that there was never a real threat of it being called off as they were treated to six goals.
