Another massive moment for Co-op Live as Niall Horan announces huge Manchester gig

Former One Direction star Niall Horan has been announced as the third artist to be performing at Co-op Live during its opening season.

The £365 million venue, which will have capacity for 23,500 people, will open in April 2024. Artists already confirmed to be performing at the huge venue near Manchester City’s Etihad stadium are the Jonas Brothers and Eric Clapton.

Horan recently released his third studio album The Show back in June, which went straight to number one. He will perform at Co-op Live on August 27, 2024 with tickets to go on sale via Ticketmaster.

The Manchester show will form part of Niall’s The Show tour, which is set to be his biggest yet and will be his first headline run since 2018’s Flicker World Tour.

Co-op Live is a joint venture between City Football Group and Los Angeles-based Oak View Group, with Niall’s fellow One Direction bandmate Harry Styles listed as one of the venue’s investors.

The venue, which was originally slated to open in December this year, will host around 120 events a year, and feature 32 bars, restaurants and lounges, including
