Ange Postecoglou makes Tottenham style vow for Man City test as Arsenal look for title race favour
Ange Postecoglou has made it clear that Tottenham will NOT stray away from their style when they face Manchester City.
Spurs have enjoyed a decent first campaign under the former Celtic boss, but look likely to fall just short of securing Champions League football next season with Aston Villa four points ahead with just two matches to play. It would require maximum points from the North London outfit and two defeats for Unai Emery's men for the sides to swap places in the EPL standings with Villa also boasting a superior goal difference if the clubs finished level on points.
Tottenham's rivals Arsenal are depending on them to get a result with City in the race for the English Premier League crown. Pep Guardiola knows maximum points in the final games will secure his men top spot but Mikel Arteta and his troops defeating Manchester United on Sunday and Spurs tasting victory over City would leave the Gunners with their destiny in their own hands. However, there's been growing anxiety among Arsenal supporters regarding Tottenham's form and their recent ability to secure a win against City. Prior to their victory over Burnley, Spurs suffered four consecutive losses, during which they let in 13 goals, yet continued to adopt an attacking approach.
Postecoglou has suggested that his team won't be making any drastic defensive changes for their upcoming match against City, reports the Mirror. He explained: "We've still got six points to play for. That's the key thing for us. There's a big game for us on Tuesday night against City and it will be a great test for us and the Sheffield United one.
