YouTube boxing stars AnEsonGib and Austin McBroom will reportedly meet in the ring in LA this summer.
McBroom hasn't fought since knocking out knocking out TikTok star Bryce Hall in the third round when the pair headlined the YouTubers vs TikTokers white-collar boxing event last June. Gib also fought on that card and was held to a controversial majority draw against Taylor Holder. To many fans in attendance, Gib won all five rounds and even Holder admitted the decision was "bulls***".
The result was later overturned when Gib was officially announced as the winner and received an apology from the hosts of the event, Social Gloves, following an appeal from the International Sport Karate Association.
According to YouTube news show host Keemstar, a fight between McBroom and Gib is being targeted for a boxing event in July. "I'm hearing through the grapevine that Austin McBroom is going to be fighting AnEsonGib," he stated.
McBroom - who has 19 million subscribers on YouTube - called out fellow social media star Jake Paul for a fight last December. He also agreed to a fight with KSI after his win against Hall, but talks of both fights have fizzled out. Paul is focused on fighting legitimate opponents instead of
