Amik Robertson exits Commanders-Lions with elbow injury - ESPN
DETROIT — Lions starting cornerback Amik Robertson was ruled out of the team NFC's divisional round playoff game against the Washington Commanders on Saturday night with an elbow injury.
Robertson was injured while tackling Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin on the defense's second play of the game. He was escorted to the locker room by team athletic trainers as they held his arm.
Robertson has been a pivotal piece for Detroit's defense and was coming off one of the best games of his career in the regular-season finale versus Minnesota when he held Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson to three catches for 54 receiving yards on Jan. 5.
The former Louisiana Tech star joined the Lions as an unrestricted free agent in the offseason. He logged 50 total tackles, and eight passes defended with a career-high three forced fumbles during the 2024 season.
