AMIC ENERGY and Dignitas fund handed over the first 25 drones to the Ukrainian army as part of the MAVIC from AMIC charitable initiative

The Austrian gas station chain in Ukraine AMIC ENERGY and the Dignitas fund have announced the transfer of the first batch of drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a part of the joint initiative ‘MAVIC from AMIC’, 25 DJI MAVIC 3 drones have been sent to the Ukrainian soldiers on the frontlines. These drones are mainly used for surveillance, as the Mavic is equipped with a high-resolution camera.

"The need for drones remains one of the most widespread. Where there are no drones, people go under fire for reconnaissance, and our defenders risk their lives and health. In order to change this, we need to work with the causes, not the consequences, to find and destroy weapons before they are fired," says Lyuba Shipovych, founder of the Dignitas Foundation. "Mavics are the eyes of the military, without which it is impossible to wage this technological war, and the more drones, the more our lives are lost. In addition to handing over the first batch of drones, AMIC ENERGY has reached a milestone in accumulating the necessary amount to purchase 100 DJI MAVIC 3 drones as part of a charity initiative.
