Amazon shoppers say 'my house is so warm' after trying £18 buy that traps heat
The sub-zero temperatures of early January may be behind us, but we're not out of the woods yet. With continued cold temperatures set to see us out through winter, Amazon shoppers might have found a cheap device that can help to seriously cut down on your energy bills.
Called the Myhomeware Radiator Air Flow Adapter Heat Diverter Booster, it works by attaching to the top of your radiator and redirecting the heat into the middle of the room rather than straight up. The smallest one starts at just £17.99, with the largest size costing £28.99 at two metres long.
To work out which model will fit your radiator, you'll need to get out a measuring tape and select the diverter that fits your particular radiator length. There are 14 different lengths to pick from on Amazon, so you should find one that suits your home.
The Myhomeware Radiator Air Flow Adapter Heat Diverter Booster promises to optimise performance, curbing the common issue where heat rises and disappears through the windows instead of warming up the room. The item's design channels heat flow, reducing the chance of lost warmth and "providing a warmer environment", according to the product description.
