Amazon shoppers race to buy Argos' bestselling £25 beauty advent calendar for 50% less

Amazon has slashed the price of a bestselling beauty advent calendar by 50%. Nivea's advent calendar, which is packed with skincare for a flawless glow, normally costs £50, but has been reduced to £25 as a limited time deal.

The calendar is currently full price, costing £50 at Argos, and the same price of £25 at Ocado - but that doesn't include the benefit of free next day delivery for Prime customers, and you'll need to hit a minimum spend to get it. The Nivea advent calendar has 24 beauty and skincare products, including moisturisers and face masks.

The calendar features the NIVEA Refreshing 24H SPF15 Day Cream and Night Cream. The duo is designed to revitalise the skin to keep it soft and supple.

There are also four face masks in the calendar: two Nivea Q10 face masks and two Nourishing Bye Bye Dry Skin masks. There's three lip balms too: one Nivea Original Care and two Caring Lip Balms in Soft Rosé.

The calendar also has two Creme Soft Shower Cremes, two deodorants, one anti-perspirant, and two mini bottles of micellar water. There's also a spa headband and other beauty accessories.

The calendar has 4.5 stars on Amazon. One person said: "To start, the calendar is huge - it arrives in its own big branded box, so beware to hide it if it is a secret. The design and quality are top-class. I appreciate that the whole production of the calendar is cardboard so doesn't add to plastic waste around Christmas time.

"There is good variety in the selection. Mostly unique with only a few duplications, and hopefully these are ones that are appreciated.
