Amazon shoppers praise 'lovely and bright' £22 solar powered garden pathway lights perfect for any summer weather come rain or shine

Lighting your garden can go one of two ways if you're shopping online. You could either end up bankrupting yourself with a fully wired-up smart system that costs a bomb, or opt for some cheap and cheerful stick-in lights that can be moved around at will.

The GIGALUMI Solar Pathway Lights definitely fall into the latter category, with a really reasonable price of £21.99 right now on Amazon (reduced from £26.99). That's a roughly typical price - compared to other online options, like this Geemoo 6 Pack of flame-effect lights, which are currently at the exact same price (and are a bit more dramatic-looking, if that's your style). The GIGALUMI lights last for up to eight hours when fully charged, which seems roughly typical of these types of products - the Geemoo lights promise only a bit more at 10 hours.

The GIGALUMI Solar Pathway Lights give you six LED lights in one pack, all powered by a battery - they also come disassembled but it should be pretty simple to click them together. From there, it's just a matter of staking them into the ground.

Solar panels on top of each can then keep their batteries topped up so that you might never actually have to replace one (if your weather is consistently good, which isn't necessarily a done deal). Probably their best feature is the mottled effect on their plastic covering, which means that the light they put out isn't direct and massively bright, but rather more diffused and atmospheric.

That's something that's been noticed by some of the 4,000-plus
