ALL OUT: New Interim AEW Women's Champion crowned

AEW ALL OUT saw a new champion crowned in a 4-way match for the Interim AEW Women’s Championship between Hikaru Shida, Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter and Toni Storm.

The Interim AEW Women’s Championship match was made official after Thunder Rosa had to step away from AEW momentarily due to injury.

The original match for the event was for Thunder Rosa to defend her championship against her tag team partner and friend, Toni Storm.

Changes to the match saw Storm have to go from facing one opponent to three. Two of these are a tag team in Dr Britt Baker D.M.D and Jamie Hayter, as well as former AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida.

The course of the match saw Baker and Hayter dominate, with the two taking out Shida with a kendo stick, followed by a vicious stomp from Baker.

Shida had to be helped to the back, and Storm had to fight a two-on-one onslaught from Team D.M.D.

Shida would re-emerge to the ring and crack Hayter and Baker with two kendo sticks in a vicious flurry.

A crucial moment in the match saw Jamie Hayter have the pin on Storm, but at the last moment, Baker pulled the referee out of the ring just before he could count three.

Baker would try to pin Hayter, but she would kick out. Storm would re-enter the fray and hit Baker with a tornado DDT and the same to Hayter, securing a shocking pinfall and capturing the Interim AEW Women’s Championship.

Storm will have the opportunity to unify the titles with Rosa when La Mera Mera returns from injury. In the meantime, it is “Toni Time” in AEW.

You can watch AEW and ALL OUT internationally on FITE TV.
