All-Ireland/Tailteann Cup draws to be held on Monday morning

The 2023 All-Ireland SFC preliminary quarter-final and Tailteann Cup semi-final draws will be held on RTÉ Radio 1's Morning Ireland on Monday morning.

Taking place after the 8.30am news, they will be conducted by Derek Kent, chairman of the GAA’s CCCC, and Feargal McGill, GAA director of player, club and games administration.

The final All-Ireland group standings will be decided after this weekend’s eight games, leaving eight teams to play in the preliminary quarter-finals next weekend.

The four teams that finish second in their group will have home advantage as they are drawn against the four third-place finishers.

Provincial finalists will not be drawn together and, where possible, repeat pairings from the group stages.

There is a chance that the Tailteann Cup semi-final draw will not be required as it is subject to the avoidance of repeat pairings from earlier in the competition.

Fixture details for both the Sam Maguire preliminary quarter-finals and the Tailteann Cup semi-finals will be confirmed on Monday afternoon.
