Alison Hammond's emotional 'wish' as she gives glimpse at new dream home

Alison Hammond has shared her emotional 'wish' with fans as she gave a glimpse at her new dream home. The This Morning star is currently taking leave from the ITV daytime show with no plans to return until April.

Following her last show on March 1, in which she hosted alongside Paddy McGuinness, the presenter confirmed she was taking a month-long break from her usual Friday slot on the popular programme which she hosts alongside Dermot O'Leary.

Alison wrote on Instagram: "I’m taking this month off @thismorning and lovely @josiegibson85 will be filling in for me with @dermotoleary. Gonna have some time off to move into my new house and chill with my son. See you in April love ya babs."

Earlier this week as a 'new era' began on This Morning with Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley taking to the helm for the first time as the show's new permanent hosting duo, Alison offered an update on her absence on social media.

Sharing a video of her Instagram Story showing an empty kitchen in her Birmingham-based home, the 49-year-old said: "Thank you for the memories. I love this house but it's time to say farewell," before sharing the video with Spice Girls track 'Goodbye' accompanying it

Now, Alison has given an exciting update as she settled into her new abode. Again taking to her Instagram Story, the Great British Bake Off host shared a video showing the view from her window. It showed a large garden with rolling green fields behind it.
