Ali, Mayweather, Pacquiao: Greatest boxer of every decade named - no Mike Tyson

In all forms of sport, there are always debates over who is the best of the best.

This is no different in the boxing world and there are plenty of stars who can stake their claim throughout history.

Boxing World Fans have posted about the best fighter of each decade from the 1910s all the way through to 2010s. The question then remains, who will the 2020s belong too?

So far, the likes of Tyson Fury, Vasyl Lomachenko and Canelo Alvarez are all in the mix for this title, but there are still another eight years left to go.

Focusing on those that have come and gone, there are some iconic names featured. At the same time, however, there are a number of iconic names absent. Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier and Mike Tyson are amongst those who could easily have featured on the list.

Muhammad Ali in the 1960s is one of the fairly straightforward decisions. In this time period, he fought Henry Cooper twice in London, Sonny Liston in Miami Beach and then up north in Maine, as well as Floyd Paterson.

Into the more recent decades and the last two names are Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. Both of their resumes speak for themselves.
