Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette wished Calum Chambers good luck ahead of his debut for Aston Villa against Leeds United on Wednesday.
The former Southampton man completed a surprise switch to Villa Park during the January transfer window, drawing to a close his eight-year spell at the Emirates Stadium in the process.
His move to the Midlands certainly came out of the blue, especially with Arsenal allowing him to depart for free - albeit with his contract set to expire in the summer.
After completing his transfer, the 27-year-old prepared to make his debut for his new side against Leeds United on Wednesday evening - but not before he was sent a message by ex-Gunners’ teammate Lacazette.
Posting on his Instagram story with an image of the game, the Frenchman wrote: “Good luck bro.”

It was certainly an exciting game for the ex-Arsenal man to be involved in, with the game finishing 3-3.
Chambers’ new teammates had raced into a 3-1 lead ahead of half-time, with a goal from ex-Liverpool man Philippe Coutinho and a brace from Ramsey seeing Steven Gerrard’s men lead
